What Is an Alarm Rule?
We define an Alarm Rule as:
The set of conditions, Equipment and configuration that together determine when, and against which Equipment, an Alarm should be opened.
Here’s an example of an Alarm Rule described in real-world terms:
"On all of my SolarEdge Inverters at all Sites in my fleet, open an Alarm when active power is below 10 kWh."
An Alarm resulting from this rule could be described as follows:
"At 15:16 GMT, active power was recorded as 9 kWh on Inverter_01 at the SolarEdge HQ site."
