March 2020
Among the bug fixes, in March we’re releasing our brand new module in the Hark Platform for monitoring and analysing Occupancy data. We’re also providing users with the ability to receive real-time information on the Platforms status and updates, directly in the Platform!
Platform Notices
There has often been times we’d like to let customers know about new releases coming to the Hark Platform, positive news about Hark or our Platform, or even when we’re seeing potential processing lag.
With our Notices feature, we’ll be able to provide you with direct in-platform information about any announcements, new releases or potential issues that may occur, without you having to leave the Platform or seek out that information.

If you find one of these notices, you can click the Read More button to find out more information. We hope this will improve your experience when using the Hark Platform!
Occupancy
Today we’re announcing the release of our brand new Occupancy module in the Hark Platform which aims to provide insight and analysis in to your Occupancy data!
With your Occupancy data streaming securely to the Hark Platform, we can analyse the data and provide a set of information that can help you make decisions.
Occupancy Overview
The initial overview panel in the Occupancy module shows you how many people are in a room in real-time, and a set of averages for the last 7 and last 30 days. More importantly, we’ll show you the busiest times for your Occupancy stream across the last 7 days for each hour.

Overlaying Occupancy Data
If you’d like to drill down further in to your Occupancy data, you can select any date range and see your min, max or average occupancy over time. Want to overlay your energy consumption data? Go ahead!

Energy
The Energy Module has had some pesky user interface bugs fixed this month including:
- Scrolling issues in Firefox have been resolved with overlay panels.
- The Command bar items were sometimes locked in to collapsed mode, they will now adjust correctly.
Monitoring
We’ve resolved an issue this month in which Hubs could be reported as offline and notification emails sent when Hubs were in fact still online.
