Sodexo launched the Accelerators programme back in November 2021, partnering with innovation specialists L Marks, inviting applications from start-ups and scale-ups with a focus on employee experience, sustainability, and smart buildings. We felt we had strong credentials to help with both the sustainability and smart buildings aspect of the innovation challenge. Hark were 1 of only 5 finalists chosen by Sodexo to work on a 10 week innovation project, beating over 400 other companies that applied.
Hark brought together academic leaders, industry pioneers, and public sector speakers, to put change into action!

The MACH Exhibition is owned and organised by The Manufacturing Technologies Association, the voice for the manufacturing technologies industry, committed to driving innovation, creating value and helping UK manufacturing to thrive. The 2022 event was a great success, we showcased and live demoed how our IIoT Platform can help manufacturers create digital revenue streams as well as protect against energy and maintenance costs.
For our first post-pandemic event, we brought together some incredibly inspiring speakers to talk about corporate sustainability, and how businesses are making a gigantic impact on the climate crisis. The aim of this event, which took place in September 2021, was to arm guests with a brand new arsenal of sustainable behaviour to take back to their businesses. A mission we’re happy to say we completed!
In July 2019, Hark and Dell gave junior developers the chance to compete in the first ever Hark Hack Day. The 12-hour challenge saw developers of all levels split into teams and compete to win Hark and Dell goodies as well as the chance of working with Hark for two weeks. We brought in a panel of judges from across a spectrum of industries, all giving their opinion on the market-readiness of the IoT solutions being developed on the day.
Hark and Dell were named as event partners for the first ever Tech Show North in Manchester in 2019. The expo was the biggest gathering of tech companies outside London and ran over 2 days at Event City, Trafford Park.
Hark and Dell teamed-up to bring together the brightest minds in energy efficiency technology and utilities to discuss the future of the sector. The first event of its kind, the Energy Innovation Summit focused on the role that tech plays within energy efficiency. Featuring expert panellists and industry professionals, the day-long event gathered together leading specialists to share their views, predictions and innovations as part of Leeds Digital Festival.
